NOBLE Professional Edition is suitable for computer systems with one or several processors with support for shared memory. This includes in large all personal computers and workstations on the market. That which is not supported is communication over cluster nodes, although communication within each node is supported. In more detail, NOBLE supports these platforms:

• PC personal computers and workstations with Intel's x86 and x64 architectures. Pentium or Xeon processors of arbitrary model is supported, including models with Hyper-threading or Dual-core (Pentium D). Supported operating systems are Linux or Windows.
  
  
• SUN workstations or servers with Ultrasparc architecture. Supported operating systems are Solaris or Linux.
  
  
• SGI workstations or servers with MIPS architecture. Supported operating systems are Irix or Linux.
  
  
• IBM/Mac workstations or servers with PowerPC architecture. Supported operating systems are AIX, Mac OS X, or Linux.
  
  

In addition, we can develop support for remaining specific platforms/operating systems when needed.
 
Program environments of support are of the multi-thread or multi-process type. Program languages are C/C++ or other languages that support access to program modules written in C.

License model

The product is packaged as a software library that can be linked together with your application during compiling stage. The package also includes an extensive written user manual of approx. 200 pages with very detailed semantical and syntactical descriptions of involved components and method functions.

The software library is licensed in a two-level hierarchy. The first level consists of licenses for developing purposes, and is charged per platform and number of developers. The second level is for deployment purposes, divided into server or product licenses. The server license handles running applications on your own dedicated servers, and is charged annually and per server. The product license handles deployment of developed applications to third-parties, and is charged with respect to actual sales with a declining percentage. For evaluation purposes, we offer an evaluation license of NOBLE Professional Edition for the Windows platform. This license is valid for 1 or 3 months, and includes access to the library and user manual, with a price of USD $1395 or USD $3295 respectively.  Naturally, this license can be upgraded to a full license with fully reduced fee.
